The
clinic was established in March 1998 by Allison Schmidt. Upon noticing the large
amount of denials of Canada Pension Plan disability benefits, Allison Schmidt
decided that applicants needed an advocate to assist them through the appeals
procedure. Allison has extensively researched Canada Pension Plan disability
benefits for two years.
